• Named Most Valuable Senior Athlete in 1939

• Head football coach in Carrollton from 1934 - 1936 with record of 21-1

• Head football coach Lorain from 1936 - 1946 with record of 66-22-8

• Coached three undefeated and five league championship teams

• Ohio High School Football Coach of the Year in 1943

• Wooster College Hall of Fam inductee in 1973

• Lorain Sports Hall of Fame in 1996
